| Inquiry before election |

EDMONTON, AB (November 28, 2011): Premier Alison Redford’s pending health care review must take place, as she promised, before the next provincial election, Wildrose Health Critic Heather Forsyth said today.
Redford has already broken her promise on ensuring the inquiry will be led by a judge, who can call witnesses and compel testimony in investigating the bullying and intimidation of health care professionals in Alberta.
In response to a question from Forsyth this afternoon, Health Minister Fred Horne refused to say if the inquiry will be judge-led and completed before the next election.
“Albertans deserve to have the answers they are looking for so they can make an informed decision at the ballot box,” Forsyth said. “Instead, this government is purposely dithering and delaying because they’re afraid of the truth.”
The Wildrose Caucus stands for free enterprise, less government, increased personal freedom and democracy.
