The Airdrie-Chestermere Wildrose Constituency Fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Airdrie Town & Country Centre (cocktails at 6:00pm, dinner at 7:00pm). To purchase tickets simply click on your preferred payment method below and follow the instructions. You will receive a tax credit for any donation you make as outlined in the below Tax Credit Information section.
IMPORTANT TAX CREDIT INFORMATION FOR DINNER TICKETS & SILENT AUCTION ITEMS
Your ticket purchase, cash donation, or auction item donation is eligible for a political tax credit.
Each $75 dinner ticket is counted as a $50 political contribution ($25 is counted as the cost of the actual dinner). That means each dinner ticket actually costs you only $37.50 ($25 dinner + $12.50 after tax credit cost).
A $600 table purchase is counted as a $400 political donation, therefore your actual cost is $350.00 ($200 dinner + $150 after tax credit cost).
Cash donations are also tax deductible. For example, a donation of $500 to our constituency association actually costs you only $200 after tax credit (see full Donation Tax Information Chart below).
Silent auction items are eligible for a tax receipt equal to the fair market value of the item or service donated (as opposed to the price for which the item is actually sold for at auction).
